Bottom Line: I saw this stem advertised as being designed for downhill use but light enough for X-country use. Its true. The stem is strong and light. It is bulky, it has a large diameter, but I think it looks good. And I got it in 110mm reach which I think is perfect for X-coutry setup. Mine has 0 degree rise, which I like, but I'm not sure if its available with any other rise. Most of all, I like the removable face plate. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the clamping bolts protrude and that can often mistreat one's knees. Other than that I think its a great product.
