      FavoriteTrail: anything ridable
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $36
      Purchased At: JensonUSA
Strengths: oddly enough, makes my XC geometry bike feel a heck of a lot better on the trails, compared to the stock 90mm GT forged aluminum piece. looks to be a major beefcakes as far as withstanding damage from hard landings. looks real nice. six bolts on the bar clamp area
Weaknesses: the metal Azonic uses, well, I tightened one side a bit further than I should have before I put the screws on the other side (top-to-bottom) and when I tightened those, the middle screw on the top pulled some threading out of the hole. if at all possible, find longer screws for the bar clamp area! and don't torque down on them as much as you usually do. just get them a little more than snug, and use a little bit of anti-seize grease or a bit of blue loctite.
Similar Products Tried: stock 90mm GT forged aluminum piece
Bike Setup: 2006 GT I-Drive 4 5.0, FSA bash guard, SRAM chain, Ritchey WCS Riser bars, everything else stock
Bottom Line: worth the money paid for it, but the metal leaves a little bit to be desired, at least where the bar clamp screws thread into the main part of the stem. even effectively missing one screw, it will easily hold the bars on and in place. with longer hardware for the bar clamp area (like, maybe 4mm or 5mm longer), it'll really shine. 5 flaming chilis for value because it cost so little for the overall beefy part you get, 4 chilis overall because of the bit with the screws for the bar clamp area.
