from The Netherlands Date Reviewed: February 21, 2008 | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Adjustability, weight, stiffness, finisch quality | | Weaknesses: | none so far. Maybe the fact that you can only use Syntace bars. | | Similar Products Used: | only regular stems | | Bike Setup: | Liteville 301 in all-mountain setup. The stem makes it possible to change the bike from Cross country to 4X / bikepark use less than a minute. | | Bottom Line: | Great if you like to adjust your bars to your riding style. Easy enough to do before a long downhill ride on a tour. Also good to find you ideal bar position on a new bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Shah Alam, Malaysia Date Reviewed: April 17, 2007 | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Price Paid: |
$60.00 | | Purchased At: | LBS | | Strengths: | Price, looks, weight and adjustability. | | Weaknesses: | The 5mm bolt didnt look strong enough to handle big hits but according to syntace website, it was approved for DH. So time will tell. | | Similar Products Used: | FSA, Thomson elite, ritchey. | | Bike Setup: | Versus Blitz, fox suspensions, XTR deus, raceface crank.. yada.. yada.. yada.. | | Bottom Line: | Amazingly light, stiff, insanely cheap and you cant beat it's adjustability. Somehow it just looks just awesome on my versus frame and guys envy me. Also love the fact that I can mount my cyclo computer at the center of my handlebar. There's nothing on the market that can do that. Even if I ever change my frame, I'll be sure that my steam and handle bar will come from syntace. Kudos guys. 10 chilis for the good job done. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Have been happy with mine for many years (bought 4 sets, two in small, two in medium with a couple extra bars. Good enough for Hans Rey, good enough for me. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Kailua, Hawaii Date Reviewed: July 8, 2006 | | Favoriate Trail: | whatever is downhill | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | eBay | | Strengths: | Adjustability, forward, backward, up, down. | | Weaknesses: | Adjustability, one hard drop to flat could possibly force the bars to move since they are held in place by 2 5mm bolts. | | Similar Products Used: | none like this, but the normal stems, raceface, truvativ, etc. | | Bike Setup: | Stock 2005 GT DHi (888RC, Fox DHX 5.0, XTR rear D, truvativ crank, Juicy 7 D. brakes, I beam seat/ post, WTB rims and tires). | | Bottom Line: | Ill do a follow up, but the cool thing is it is adjustable. Time will tell about the durability. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
