Description:
The GI stem is strong, simple, and basic. The stem is forged and machined from a big chunk of 6061 aluminum and uses big, oversized allen bolts to give you plenty of meat to get the job done.

      Duration Product Used: 2 Years
      Price Paid: $35
      Purchased At: Poser Sports
Strengths: Cheap, strong, 6mm bolt heads, bmx styling.
Weaknesses: Drop bmx style can put your bars a little further down than I would like. Not a big deal though, I got used of it and like it now.
Similar Products Tried: Truvativ, Radical, Kooka, RaceFace, Funn.
      Bike Setup: freeride hardtail
Bottom Line: Great stem. If your riding street or dj, its the one to go with. Only works with 22.2mm bars (bmx size). I used the General Issue Street 2" rise bars, with the General Issue 42mm stem, and it worked great!
