Strengths:
the coolest looking stem that i have ever owned. it is very stiff and light weight. well machined, very clean lines and the hardware is top notch. the bolts came greased and the whole thing went together very nicely. the stiffness shows up when i'm in the skatepark, trying to get speed for the box jump. i have never heard a single creak out of it while i'm cranking at the jumps.
Weaknesses:
none to date. it's a cool stem that works good, either you're gonna like it, or not. there are no technical weaknesses though.
Similar Products Used:
Azonic, Tioga, Thompson, Atomic, FSA, Race Face, and Kore
i like it. its a stem, its not going to change your life, but it looks cooler than most and it is very stiff and light, making it my favorite stem.

Strengths:
Even stiffer than SIC's Slam-X 1.2. This stem is freakin lite and its actually intended for DH'ing. I have the Magnesium 2.4, which costs a little more than the aluminum, but is lighter, and just as stout. I have done some really big drops and had some nasty wrecks too, and i've never had a problem with this stem. it feels really great while you're riding. you will actually notice the crisp feeling that this stem gives your bike. it looks tuff too. the mag come in two color options, either natural grey or "japanese beetle." i have the beetle finish, which looks like the color of a Japanese beetles back.
Weaknesses:
just like i said with the Slam-X 1.2...they are hard to find, but supposedly they are going to be widely available this season?...

Bottom Line:
if you are a hard rider and you want a stem that's for riding hard...SIC has your deal....
