Strengths:The stem looks good. It appears to be twisted, but it is actually forged/cnc'd magnesium. It is by far the stiffest stem that i have ever used. The days of feeling the flex in my handlebars are gone. It is pretty lite as well. I use the Slam-X 1.2 on my XC bike and i have a Slam-X 2.4 on my freeride/dh bike. Both are stiff as heck.
Weaknesses:the stems are slightly difficult to find, but worth the search...i have talked to the company and they say that they will be much easier to buy in the near future.

Bike Setup:Specialized FSR, Rock Shox Physlo, Sram 9.0, XT Cranks, Answer bars, Lock-On's, SIC stem, Time ATAC pedals, Maxxis Larsen TT tires.
Bottom Line:If you can get your hands on one of these stems, you'll be glad you did.
