Description:The GI stem is strong, simple, and basic. The stem is forged and machined from a big chunk of 6061 aluminum and uses big, oversized allen bolts to give you plenty of meat to get the job done.

from Canada Date Reviewed: June 14, 2007 | | Duration Product Used: | 2 Years | | Price Paid: |
$35.00 | | Purchased At: | Poser Sports | | Strengths: | Cheap, strong, 6mm bolt heads, bmx styling. | | Weaknesses: | Drop bmx style can put your bars a little further down than I would like. Not a big deal though, I got used of it and like it now. | | Similar Products Used: | Truvativ, Radical, Kooka, RaceFace, Funn. | | Bike Setup: | freeride hardtail | | Bottom Line: | Great stem. If your riding street or dj, its the one to go with. Only works with 22.2mm bars (bmx size). I used the General Issue Street 2" rise bars, with the General Issue 42mm stem, and it worked great! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
