      FavoriteTrail: chubb
      Duration Product Used: 1 Year
Strengths: keeps wheel attached to bike, lightweight i guess, allows me to say "hey, i have ti skewers"
      Weaknesses: no remote control
      Similar Products Tried: other skewers
Bike Setup: 2 wheeled carbon thing
Bottom Line: hey, they work, came with a bike i bought off some guy, if you are considering upgrading your skewers because your current ones are holding you back, perhaps you are just out of shape. skewers are skewers....5 chilis because my wheels have yet to fall off while i am riding

      Purchased At: online
      Strengths: lightest Ti skewers
Weaknesses: creaking: cam lever works against nylon bearing. problem appears to have been solved by a little grease.
      Similar Products Tried: various
Bike Setup: Road: seven axiom, tunecomp hubs
Bottom Line: not that sexy looking, but best price to weight ratio of any skewer. Creaking was annoying, but i think that's solved. Never came loose on me, but then again has only been used on-road.

      Date Reviewed: 12/24/1999
      FavoriteTrail: Sullivan Canyon Area
      Duration Product Used: 6 months
Strengths: Very lite not toooo expensive
Weaknesses: Front Skewer loosens when going Bonzi down hill
Similar Products Tried: standard Al skewers
Bike Setup: Intense Uzzi SL/SID 100mm
Bottom Line: This product is very good on wt. So far I have not broke them but twice the front skewer worked its way loose. Once the only reason it didn't take me out was because I stopped to wait for a friend and noted the flip-off looked unusual. Now I still use them but I use a twist tie to hold the flip-off from moving. Over-all a good not great product, about the security?
