Description:Expedition issue cycling shorts as worn by Vladimir under his spacesuit on the ill-fated "Tour de la Lune". Constructed from tough Nylon Lycra with a moulded synthetic "chamois" pad to deliver plush, long range comfort and durability. Dead easy to care for and they dry out faster than a fast thing.

$50.00 | | Purchased At: | Groundeffects website | | Strengths: | Comfy. Durable. Cheap. | | Weaknesses: | None | | Similar Products Used: | Netti, Giordano | | Bike Setup: | HARDtail | | Bottom Line: | A great pair of knicks. Keep me happy on 100k+ rides on my hardtail. Hard to justify spending more on anything else. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Adelaide Date Reviewed: July 9, 2007 | | Favoriate Trail: | Fox Creek | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Strengths: | Comfortable | | Weaknesses: | life of pad | | Similar Products Used: | nearly all of them | | Bike Setup: | who cares | | Bottom Line: | Nice comfy shorts, but after a few months (using once / twice a week) they feel more like a pair of lycra jocks, rather than cycling specific shorts with a chamois! The padding is dead. They are strong, but if you want the pad to last longer, try something else. I love my other GE stuff though, just disappointed with these | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$40.00 | | Purchased At: | Ground Effect website | | Strengths: | Durable beyond comparison. I've had two pairs for over 5 years (2 years spent MTB racing) and they work like new. | | Weaknesses: | Can't resist buying more ground effect gear ;-) | | Similar Products Used: | Various non-descript ones until I found the best. | | Bike Setup: | GT Avalanche (Stock) Giant TCR1 (Stock) | | Bottom Line: | If you want bike shorts that are comfortable, last a long time and at a good price this is it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
