    Favorite Trail:Hill Country
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Strengths:Price, look, overall quality
    Weaknesses:they are bibs
    Similar Products Used:None
Bike Setup:1999 Airborne Zeppelin, Dura Ace/Ultegra mix, Rolf Vector Pros
Bottom Line:I got these as an experiment having never used bibs but always regular shorts. From my experience, there is not a problem with the quality of the shorts, the chamois pad, or even the sublimation, those things are all fine. The problem is that bibs are more effort to get into, and if you have need of a pit stop during a ride, they are a problem at a time when there should be no problem. Sorry, I am back to regular shorts and the bibs relegated to short rides only.

Submitted by Evan Truesdale a Cross-Country Rider from Chicago IL
    Date Reviewed: October 22, 1999
    Favorite Trail:
    Downtown chicago
    Duration Product Used:
    3 months
    Strengths:
    Super comfy chamois
    Cool graphic on side
    very warm
    Weaknesses:
the shoulder susperbers arn't lycra, their this scratchy polyester dealCahmois and stiching tend to deteriorate after time
    Bike Setup:
    Giant TCR 1T stock components
Bottom Line:These look really cool, are very warm, and have an exelent chamios that typically costs $30 more on bib's.However, after very delicate care on my part (hand washed after every ride) the chamois's tiching is coming off and their are small holes are appearing where the stiching used to be. Also the stiching in other area's is coming loose after a while and I never have put them in a washing machine, ever! The deterioration is rather signifigant in the @$$ crack seam, the fabric is pulling away from each other and leaving lots of little holes next to the seam lines. VERY ANNOYING4-looks
    2-stiching
4.5-comfortreally need's to be 3.5 but the stiching is too big of an issue especilly, when coming from a quality manfactre like airborne
    Overall Rating:3
