Submitted by Kirk a Cross Country Rider from Edinburgh
Date Reviewed: May 17, 2001
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $10.00
Purchased At:Edinburgh Bicycle
Strengths:(Left hand - Micro adjustable) good solid clicks, clean shifts, fixed my front shifting problems.
Weaknesses:none
Similar Products Used:Shimano shifters
Bike Setup:Handsomedog tange prestige frame-LX derailluers-Bontrager- World force handlebar-......whatever.
Bottom Line:Fixed my front derailleur shifting problems, adjusted the derailleur once when I got, never since. Better for the front derailleur than shimano 3-speed shifters. I still use my shimano shifter for the back derailleur , I'm going to change it though.

Date Reviewed: December 23, 1999
Favoriate Trail:
Little Carpathians
Duration Product Used:
6 months
Strengths:
Good looking.
Good for holding.
Possible to make relatively quick shift through the whole range.
Possible to adjust during riding.
Weaknesses:
During jumping or terrain riding it switches accidentaly alone.
Similar Products Used:
various other shifters
Bike Setup:
crosscountry
Bottom Line:It cost about 25 dollars. There are five degrees in levels and price in SRAM shifters, but their functionality is about the same. They are not absolutely perfect, but better than all the other shifters.
Overall Rating:4

Submitted by Bernard a Cross-Country Rider from Slovenia
Date Reviewed: June 8, 1999
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
It is comfortably precise; you just need a click to shift and it is easy to use.
Weaknesses:
Fixed grips take on an axial securing function, but they seem to slip quite easily off the handlebar.
The diameter of the grips would be more comfortable if it was a bit bigger.
Bottom Line:Comfortable, precise and quick. Fixed grips can slip off the handelbar, and itÿs at least anoying.
Overall Rating:4
