Favoriate Trail:Schoolyard
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:Supergo
Strengths:Not too heavy, seems very strong. I personally like the logo.
Weaknesses:Not exactly the lightest seatpost
Similar Products Used:Easton EA 50
Bike Setup:XC
Bottom Line:I love weyless parts. Firt of all, you cant beat the price. Second of all, they're an amazing deal, at least compared to all the other insanely expensive seat posts out there. 50 bucks for a Easton EA50 when it weighs 5 grams less? Its a no brainer. Five flammin chili-shaped seatposts for value...wish I could give it more.

Favoriate Trail:Deer Creek
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $20.00
Purchased At:Supergo
Strengths:Cheap, strong, simple single bolt easy to set up and stays put, and does the job
Weaknesses:The Weyless logo will be a letdown to the brand-name freaks
Similar Products Used:Bontrager, Kalloy
Bike Setup:Weyless XP with XT components and 5th Element shock, 125mm Fox front shock, Avid mech. brakes, Performance Topo wheels with Hutchinson Python tires.
Bottom Line:There are much more expensive seat posts out there but I cannot understand why they cost so much more when this generic seat post is as good as the brand name ones, weights the same, works the same way, and in my experience, it has been easy to set up and trouble free. If you are in a budget or simply don't believe in labels, buy this seat post and use the money saved to buy expensive beer. At least you should be able to tell the difference between a good brew and the cheap stuff.

Favoriate Trail:The one I'm on
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $20.00
Purchased At:Supergo
Strengths:Light enough, long- for compact frames, simple, cheap.
Weaknesses:No Chi Chi factor
Similar Products Used:Kalloy's, Synchros, Thomson, Kore
Bike Setup:Alum hardtail, Bomber, XT, flite saddle.
Bottom Line:Wow. The first review. I feel so special!

Whatever, here's the lowdown- It's a Kalloy post, relabeled for Supergo. It's your basic aluminum post, single bolt on the knurled rocker style. Some material has been removed from the inside, in an oval fashion, ala thomson style, and it's nice and long (400 mm) so long legged people can safely run compact frames. I've got bout 10 inches of post showing on mine, and it gives a nice suspension effect to smallish bumps. My 145 lbs skinny butt thinks that's nice. Someone alot heavier? I dunno. Could be too flexy.

If you're building a bike on a budget, and you want to go ride already for chrisssakes- toss it in the basket and run, -throw in a pair of the weyless bars too- don't worry, no one will make fun of you at the trail head for having a cheap seatpost- besides, these look an awful lot like the Easton EA-50's- I'm not saying nutin' just observing...

Have fun out there.
