I had to make sure to clean VERY WELL the inner walls of the seat tube before installing the seatpost. It did not move, did not squeak. Just plain worked (as it was expected to do). I found it very, very comfortable but not flexy (after reading reviews on other carbon posts, this was my first worry). It might not be the lightest of the pack (200g for a 27.00 diam. and 350 mm length), but the craftmanship is really high quality. THe clamp is CNC'd Ergal, with two ti screws, one to tighen the saddle, and a second one to modify the angle. Very neat! (and better-looking than the equivalent Easton).
Too early to say how long it will last, but definitely a very good first impression from this high quality Italian product. I am gonna give 5 chilies now, and will review again in a few months, when I will have some serious mileage on it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
