Now, bear in mind, I'm a VERY skinny guy (5'6", 110lbs) so this made my butt ache. I think if you were a "normal"-sized person or slightly larger, this saddle would be awesome. Because I'm not, I opted for something REALLY comfortable and this was it! SUPER comfortable. I can now go for more than 1 hour without ANY pain (last ride was 2+ hours straight!). Highly recommended for skinny riders who want to ride for prolonged periods of time. :)

When you install the saddle as directed, the hump makes me feel as though I'm sliding down a hill on the saddle as I ride. I've tried tilting it and can't seem to get it just right. Anyone else have this issue? Another issue is that the saddle is so cushy that I feel as though I'm bouncing when I hit bumps sometimes. This inexpensive saddle has its applications. It would be best for short jaunts around town on a hybrid or mountain bike. It is extremely plush and comfortable with a wide seat but after about 10 miles, it is uncomfortable - too much padding. It has good adjustability. The cover sticks to clothing and has worn off. It was much more comfortable than the stock saddle that came with my bike so I could recomend it as a comfortable upgrade to an inexpensive stock saddle. I've since replaced it with a Bontrager FS2000 WSD.

Someone else mentioned that it's a bit heavy and wide but you get used to it. For those of you who are worried about the width of this saddle, Serfas does make a "Performance" model that's narrower for about $50. I'm just comforted by the fact that I'm not killing my prostate. It also makes ruff trails easy to handle. It took a bit of trial and error but eventually I adjusted it just right so that there was no pressure on the sack, no numbness and no pain or soreness on my rear. It looks pretty cool too. I recommend this saddle to anyone who gets numbness in the sack. If you're worried about the weight and width of your saddle, stay away from this one.
