a Downhiller
from Port Coquitlam, BC Date Reviewed: December 29, 2007 | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Price Paid: |
$50.00 | | Strengths: | very strong, very cosmetically appealing, deep profile, easy to tension, stay very true, excellent "bang for your buck" value | | Weaknesses: | a little heavy, spoke nipples kept falling into the rim when being built (I suggest using a spoke to guide them in the holes!) | | Similar Products Used: | Supra BH, Supra D, DX32, DM24, 521's, 721's | | Bike Setup: | new 03 4by w/Vanilla RC, 05 Z150, Diabolus cranks, Deore 8" hydraulic frnt/rr, FUNN bars and headset, Holzfeller stem, Supra4X 36h rims w/Specialized 20mm front and DMR 6pawl rear hub | | Bottom Line: | These rims are built to abuse! They did not cost much and they take a beating. Bought them new about 6 months ago and I have done very minor truing since I built them up... I would suggest these rims to anyone who is tight on cash but wants a durable product. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
