Description:
Split shocks feature a high volume, piggyback air shock configuration coupled with our Platform Plus damping system. Platform Plus is a less sophisticated, less expensive, shim based damping alternative to SPV technology. Of note: though Split is a cost-sensitive product for Manitou, it features technology similar to our competitor's highest-end product.

      Duration Product Used: 3 months
Purchased At: Came on my Brodie Nemesis
Strengths: SPV- smooth no pedal bob
      Weaknesses: none so far
      Bike Setup: '06 Brodie Nemesis
Bottom Line: so far i like the smoothness and feel of an air shock. was a little worried having an air rather than coil rear shock but seem to be holding up fine. It doesn't have that dead feel my old 2001 Fox RC shock had ( which didn't have propedal)
