Favoriate Trail:Stanky Creek
Duration Product Used:3 months
Purchased At:came with bike (Giant Yukon)
Strengths:They look nice, they're durable, they come with reflectors and they don't cost much at all.
Weaknesses:They don't have a lot of grip, and what they do have doesn't last very long because the pins wear down easily. Also one of my reflectors came off :(
Similar Products Used:cheap, plastic ones (Dimension brand)
Bottom Line:For a stock pedal, these are nothing short of decent. After three months of weekend trail riding and smashing into curbs on my way to and from school during the week (trying to do little tricks), they're still in one piece. This would be a great pedal for any casual biker. I think they would last a long time for someone who isn't rough with their bike.

I like to pedal hard through the woods and take jumps when I come to them so I need something a little sturdier and with more grip strength. I'm upgrading from these to the Wellgo MG-1 Magnesium pedals. I think Wellgo is a great brand, and the 313s are a fine pedal for beginners.

Favoriate Trail:Rochester has crappy trails
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Purchased At:Came with bike
Strengths:Worked for the time being. Didn't experience too much slipping but occasionally. Good for any light rider, I suppose.
Weaknesses:Not very durable. Slid out and pedal got caught in a small dirt hole. Spindle was off balance ever since, and the ball bearings aren't that great. Definitely not recommended for an aggressive rider that experiences slip outs, falls, etc.
Similar Products Used:A little of everything.
Bike Setup:'03 Iron Horse Warrior
Bottom Line:The bottom line: you get what you pay for. $12 is going to give you pedals that will last you a short while, with creaky spindles and bad ball bearings. Wellgo would have been better off taking more time on these and doing it right instead of having these pedals drag down their name.

Favoriate Trail:s
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $20.00
Purchased At:silverdale cyclery
Strengths:they work good for like 6 months, there cheap, they spin around, pins are replaceable
Weaknesses:well the pins suck but i'm to cheap to buy good ones, the bearings are shot in both pedals, they bend and flex where the spindle connects to the actual platform, the paint wears off but no big deal to me
Similar Products Used:many, top of the line platforms, clipless, road, clips, everything
Bike Setup:versus blitz 6" travel, i'm getting really sick of telling all the parts so it's just mostly AM/freeride and freeride components.
Bottom Line:well if you just want some cheap pedals for occasional platform usage but don't plan on anything big these work great, but once you start dropping the bearings get shot and the spindle creaks and everything goes to, .... termoil.

Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $25.00
Purchased At:bikezone
Strengths:I think this is a great pedal for beginners on a budget. They have good grip and come in alot of different colors lol.
Weaknesses:They are a bit small, so if dirt jumping you often miss the pedal. The paint also wears off very quickly, within 2 weeks. The other thing is the weight, for their size they seem quite heavy, but as they are only pedals they wont make a huge difference to your bike.I have Kona jacks**t pedals now, which are lighter, bigger and more grippy.
Similar Products Used:Konas.
Bike Setup:Scott yz0,dmr zipgrips, kona pedals(used to have wellgo) titec berserkr seat.
Bottom Line:if you are a beginner, get these pedals. For the price they are grippy, look good (alot like dmr v8's. But if you are looking for good pedals for £5 more you could get dmr's or kona's. Generally great.

Duration Product Used:1 Year

Strengths:its verry grippy and strong enough for me altough i dont grind theyre great for your money
Weaknesses:they kill your shins and the loose ball bearings but i havent have problems with them

Bottom Line:i like the weight if you look at the primo pedals and look at this pedals you can reduce weight so if you are an 'cheap'buyer i would prefer you this pedals, i never had problems with it,accept one pin was away

Favoriate Trail:The way to school
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $18.00
Purchased At:Ebay
Strengths:These things are stronger than anything else. They can take big hits, such as curbs. If they can handle curbs... than there strong. They supply the best grip ever, better than clipless pedals like those cheap Egg Beater Triple Ti's.
Weaknesses:the price
Similar Products Used:The pedals that come on my awsome Giant Boulder
Bike Setup:Giant boulder stock + pedals + killer reflecters
Bottom Line:These pedals are the bomb. They give out a great grip along with being sturdy enough to take big hits, such as a curb. These things are so good that they could be used as racing pedals for both cross-country and downhill. You should get these over any other pedal out there except that they are a bit expensive but i like to spoil myself.

Favoriate Trail:McKenzie River, OR
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $12.00
Purchased At:Jenson USA
Strengths:Cheap, come with reflectors!
Weaknesses:The pins will wear out or break pretty quickly and they
are not replaceable. So after a few rides you may end
up with "semi-slick" platform pedals. These pedals are
only good for recreational riding. I bought them for
snow/bad-waether riding. Hopefully, they will last until
summer.
Similar Products Used:Bear-cage pedals (might be a better alternative)
Bike Setup:Klein Attitude
Bottom Line:I don't know what these can be good for. Maybe if you want
to try riding platform pedals and see if you like them.
Otherwise, just use traditional cage pedals if you don't
like being clipped in.
