| Duration Product Used: | 3 months |
| Price Paid: | $88 |
| Purchased At: | LBS |
| Strengths: | Look pretty sweet and have beefy construction |
| Weaknesses: | X feels bad underneathe normal skate shoes. Might work with boots or sneakers. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Lots. wellgo, syncros. many BMX pedals |
| Bike Setup: | Azonic steelhead, profile cranks, MTX rims on hadleys. |
| Bottom Line: | Not so good for street or dirt jupms. The X looks cool but it is kind of unpredictable if you're moving your foot around a lot. Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. You can feel the shape on landings which sucks. I'd rather just have a big square platform. Probably ok for downhill or something where you use a lighter shoe and don't have to readjust. |

| Strengths: | Sealed tight, clingy like a crazy x girlfriend, strong like a fox |
| Weaknesses: | uh. i get dirt in the outter hex hole. nothing some TLC with a toothbrush wont fix tho. |
| Similar Products Tried: | wellgo alloy (pretty good) |
| Bike Setup: | all u gotta know is it be pimp. minus the scratches. 5.10 impact shoes are the best |
| Bottom Line: | Pretty kick ass. the paint has stayed on so far. They dont need to be serviced, and they give u some extra room from the crank so u dont wear off any paint or click ur ankle. |

| Purchased At: | BeyondBikes |
| Strengths: | Rock solid, cool looks, excellent grip, DURABILITY |
| Weaknesses: | Lost a few pins in the beginning, then made a trip to the hardware store and got a bag of longer pins (4 bucks) and cranked 'em all the way down. Haven't lost a single one since. Longer pins make 'em grip like hell anyway. |
| Similar Products Tried: | A-Frames, Aircorps, ZuZu's |
| Bottom Line: | I'm about 200 lbs, hardcore freerider and I've got two seasons of DH, FR, trails and urban on these things and they still feel like new. I've cased jumps and harsh drops that I thought would bend the axle for sure but they're perfectly straight, still spin smooth and silent and have no play what so ever. Not to mention a good rinse with the garden hose and they still look sweet. I recommend 'em for serious riders but newb's be careful cause if you slip they'll definately bite you. Best traction and most reliable pedal I've ever had. You don't have to spend $100+ to get good pedals. I'd buy another pair. |

| Strengths: | Grips well, Large platform, affordable quality, takes a beating, stylish/unique look, 470 grams. |
| Weaknesses: | Will tear up shoes. And give you some bad pedal bite. You might end up taking some mud home. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Various pedals on the rigs of my riding buddies. |
| Bike Setup: | '06 S-Works Enduro, Marzzochi All Mtn 1 fork, Mavic 819 disc w/ Hadley hubs. Race Face Turbine LP cranks, XTR front/rear derailleurs, SRAM Rocket shifters, Avid BB7 185mm disc brakes |
| Bottom Line: | These pedals will not let go. They keep your feet exactly where you placed them. They will tear up soft rubber shoes. But not drasticly. And if you ever slip your pedal be careful, as they will leave a nasty claw mark. After a few months of riding these pedals have taken a beating against rocks, logs and a few falls, being left out in the rain, and riding through dirt, mud and sandy trails and they still perform flawless. The bearings spin free and the pins are still in place. These pedals also have a unique look. At first I was unsure about there being some platform missing at the front and rear. But it's a moot point. You don't even notice it. The spaces in the pedal do hold mud. But a poke with your finger will knock it out easy. Overall these pedals are excellently designed and worth the cash. |

| Strengths: | This review is for the Mountain X the big brother to the xtension. They give you a large solid platform to place your foot. They give you good footing climbing and descending. The fact that the make you work harder than clipless or pedals with clips is a plus in my opinion..you get a better workout |
| Weaknesses: | None |
| Bike Setup: | Trek VRX300 framze anodized, Magura Marta Disc front and rear, Azonic MountainX Pedals, Thomson Seatpost, Specialized Seat, Bontrager motorcross style handle bars, Mavic Cross Ride Wheelset, Holzfeller Crankset, Sram x7 shifter and rear only gears, Panaracer Cinder Tires, Marzocchi Pro ETA fork |
| Bottom Line: | They've taken rock hits without even scratching, They spin well, They look sweeeeet. If you buy them you will like them. I believe they will do a great job for XC, FR and DH. |

| Bottom Line: | I had a gift certificate to Wheel World that was about 4 years old and it was burning a hole in my pocket. I had checked out these pedals before, so when my Atomlabs (my second pair) died I bought these. To my surprise, they feel great, they are light and durable. I'm only giving this 4 chilis because I don't know the lifespan of this product yet. |

| Bottom Line: | These pedals are great for the tough ride, great grip and they look cool as hell. They tear up the shoes a little and no clips require some extra leg power, but that's just a small item. |

| Strengths: | Super tough man. Looks totally sick. Awsome smooth sealed bearings. Never worry about your foot slipping offa them. Just plain awsome. |
| Weaknesses: | So cool I almost don't wanna use them. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Cheap stock pedals that came with my P.2, they broke within a week or so. |
| Bike Setup: | Specialized 04 P.2. AWSOME BIKE |
| Bottom Line: | I broke the stock pedals that came with my bike in the first couple of weeks. I've done downhill stuff, trail-like stuff, urban riding, 6ft to flat drops, jumps and just plain banged them pretty good. They are SOOO much more tough then what I thought they'd be. Don't let the design of the pedal fool you. I got some chin/knee gaurds thinking I'd use them, but I've never had my foot slip off these pedals!!! The sealed bearings run like totally smooth. And if you lose some traction pins, just call Azonic up and get some more!Totally recomend these pedals for w/e riding you do |
