$25.00 | | Purchased At: | pricepoint | | Strengths: | looks, and ease of adjustments to retention spring | | Weaknesses: | a little bit on the heavy side(but actualy still lighter than a streetshoe/pedal combination) | | Similar Products Used: | none- this is my first clipless set | | Bike Setup: | '03 giant iguana disc with alivio cranks, wpd-801 pedals, ang velociraptor tires. | | Bottom Line: | I got these pedals over shimano because the price and I didn't want to buy an expensive set to be my first clipless pedals. So far i have put about 20 miles on them and all I can say is WOW what an improvement compared to the stock steel cage pedals that came on my bike. I have also found that climbing is alot easier too. I would definitely recomend this product to anybody looking for a good first set of clipless pedals even though I haven't used these very long. If you are weight concious then these pedals probably are not for you as they are a little heavier than something that costs more but for me they are just what I was looking for because I am 220lbs and these pedals seem to "built tough" as the discription says they are. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
