$15.00 | | Purchased At: | LBS for 10 punds | | Strengths: | Cheap as chips so u can treat em liek dirt then buy a new pair if they fail on you!! looks good too (get em in silver) and mine have held up well - Smooth spinning bearings and decent grippy pins | | Weaknesses: | watcha dont slip or your shins will look like they've gone 3 rounds with a tiger. Pins can be lost if you bash them (i havent lost any yet though) quite heavy too but at least u know they won't break | | Similar Products Used: | oddysey beartraps triple cage stock rubbish :) | | Bike Setup: | custom merlin | | Bottom Line: | at this price u can get 4 pairs instead of DMR's - just watch yer shins | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Vancouver Date Reviewed: February 22, 2003 | | Favoriate Trail: | alley | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Purchased At: | Came with bike | | Strengths: | They're great pedals for the price, strong overall, versatile. | | Weaknesses: | -The reflectors are short-term decorations unless you're a careful rider -Mechanically not as durable as the competition -On the heavy side | | Similar Products Used: | Some plastic ones, and a metal commuter pedal | | Bike Setup: | Stock MM | | Bottom Line: | Yeah these pedals are nice n' durable and they certainly do the job. The reflectors all cracked out of their housings after a few months, but for most people reflectors aren't a big deal It's only a week ago after a 6-month period of hard riding from dirtjumping to shore to urban to commuting in pouring rain that they've become loose; now they rattle, creak, squeak and stall upon riding but it's probably only a matter of cleaning and tightening for them to work all normal again. Again, great pedals for all kinds of stuff. If you're hard on parts or go big, you may want to reconsider. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
