$6.00 | | Purchased At: | pricepoint | | Strengths: | Biodegredable.(Has been bio for almost 10 years, long before the eco-friendly fashion that others are jumping on right now). Best at quieting your drivetrain No gunk compared to other products if you wipe it down with a rag. Long lasting. The best lube for dry, dusty colorado trails. | | Weaknesses: | Hard to find. Answer doesn't market that excellent product too well. | | Similar Products Used: | White lightning (gunkiest, look at that thick white gunk settled in the bottle). Pedros (like pouring water) Finish line (not bad but not biodegradable). W40 (last 40 seconds) | | Bike Setup: | Specialized with hg 93 chain, xt cassette, xtr derailleur | | Bottom Line: | The best lube out there by a truly environmentally friendly company, commited beyond the marketing hype. Pour some MOTOREX on and you will feel like you just installed a new chain. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$5.00 | | Purchased At: | online | | Strengths: | Cleans up chain well. Quiets drive line noise. Long lube interval. | | Weaknesses: | Leaves residue. Must wipe chain after each ride and floss cassette to remove excess lube. | | Similar Products Used: | Prolink, Ice Wax. | | Bike Setup: | Giant TCR roadbike. | | Bottom Line: | Looks like olive oil. Residue marginaly acceptable for dry roadie use but haven't tried it on mountain bike yet. Wet performance unknown. Not as dry as Prolink and Ice Wax. This stuff did remove the grease from a new Shimano chain. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
