Strengths:
the model cat eye i own is not listed, so i am posting the review here. bright led and long battery life
Weaknesses:
every cat eye i have ever owned failed at the switch. i've come to the conclusion that cat eyes are not reliable. having your lights not turn on - dangerous. lights not working ? well, forget about contacting the company. you're not going to be able to find them.
Bottom Line:
i'm not purchasing anymore cat eyes. latest acquisitions are Blackburn Quadrant and Nashbar Brilliant II 5 LED Headlight
i'm not betting on it, but maybe cat eye does have a quality control. the newer switches are magnetic gizmos, maybe they corrected the defects. the newer ones also boast 1500 is it lumens ? no reviews yet. i'm curious, but would rather try something else before risking another blackout with defective lighting.
