| Strengths: | super bright, great mounts, cheap batteries, lots of batteries, nice controls, runs cool, weight, runtime |
| Weaknesses: | no 12v car charger |
| Similar Products Tried: | dark..ends custom system |
| Bike Setup: | blur |
| Bottom Line: | delighted the mounts work great on regular and the new thicker mtb bars. It's so bright. once you understand the controls the one button to go quickly to full power is awesome. I run just one light on my bars and do lots of wooded single track no problem. I got the wide beam and also got a spare battery since they're only $30 more for another battery. The charger is teeny and light and super easy to use too. highly recommend these lights! I use this light around my house when the power goes out, too, it's easy to make the helmet mount work on a baseball hat (just cut two slits in the vistor). |

| Strengths: | compact, light, extra battery |
| Weaknesses: | I exchanged this light after the original one stopped working in the first week. The replacement seamed to work fine but then the same problem happened again. It seams like there is a bad connection in the headlight cable causing the light to cut out unexpectedly. What’s the use of a second battery when the headlight cable has a problem??? After the second faulty light, I exchanged it for a Trinewt. Same brightness and color but it doesn’t turn off by itself. I should have gotten that light in the first place. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Nite Rider HID, and now Trinewt |
| Bottom Line: | Avoid this light unless you like lights that turn off on their own. Unless they fix the headlight I would avoid all Dinotte lights and stick with a more reliable company like Nite Rider. |

| Strengths: | Well thought out design. Works great bar or helmet mounted. Cables are very secure. Oh yeah, did I say it is Freaking bright! All of the electronic switching is contained within the light engines (unlike others)and works very well. The two Li-ion batteries are great! The bar mounting setup is..well..perfect. |
| Weaknesses: | Almost none but I'll be picky. When helmet mounted it does stand out quite a bit. I have to tape the extra on the straps down so they don't flap around. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Marwi Halogen 12w, Jett Halogen 13w, Niterider 10w, Dinotte 200L & 200L dual (bar & helmet) |
| Bike Setup: | 96'Trek 9800 carbon with new Rockshox Reba upgrade. 05'Kona Kikapu deluxe (stock). |
| Bottom Line: | Everything (positive) you've read about this light is true. It is bright...real bright. I checked out the current light reviews and I would say the beam pattern photos are spot on. Currently I've been using it helmet mounted. Even when I turn my bar light off I can still see everything on the trail. I am using the standard (narrow)lens. This light has so much spill light I don't know why anyone would need a flood. The only improvement I would like to see Dinotte make with the 600L would be to offer "quick change optics", namely... very narrow beam, standard beam, flood beam and then offer all three with the setup. Like I said I'm picky. At least you have a choice of standard or flood as they are now. It needs to be noted that DiNotte customer service rocks. They have responded to every inquiry I have made. If you buy a DiNotte setup it is also important to note that as future more powerful LED's become available your 600L or 200L might be able to be upgraded by DiNotte. (...at the customer's expense of course ) Personally, I think the current setup is as bright as I could ever need! |

| Strengths: | Craftmanship, weight, quality, service, brightness, burning time, dimming possibilities |
| Weaknesses: | ??? sorry, really there are no weakness with this product |
| Similar Products Tried: | Light and Motion ARC, Lupine Wilma, Dinotte 200L, Jetlite Phantom |
| Bike Setup: | Titus Motolite |
| Bottom Line: | I have had the best halogen lights (Jetlites), the best HID (L&M) and the super fancy Lupine. I had a 200L and it is an awesome light. The 600L is just the big brother; as awesome as all the dinotte products. I can tell you that while the Dinotte is not as fancy as the Lupine, it has nothing to envy as far as quality and craftmanship. I don't think there's competition with Dinotte for the price And it comes with 2 batteries! 7 hours of light at high.. do the maths Keep up the good work Dinotte! |

| Strengths: | Good quality construction. Connectors are very easy to put together by "feel" and seal very well. Very bright light, and good beam pattern (I have the "narrow" beam version). Came with two batteries and the batteries are small and light. |
| Weaknesses: | Light head is a little heavy when mounted on my helmet. Not objectionally heavy, but I came from a Jet Halogen light where the light head was very light, and I notice the difference. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Jet 20W Halogen |
| Bottom Line: | This is a very good light. Claimed battery life is 3.5 hours at high setting. I have gone as long as 3 hours so far with no problems. Having two batteries really extends battery life - plus the batteries are really small and light (especially compared to the brick battery that came with my old Jet Light). The first light I received from Dinotte had a defect. I called Dinotte and they immediately shipped me a new light head - no questions asked. The new light head has worked flawlessly and I am very happy with the whole system. |

| Strengths: | Distance, even beam, ergonomic, comes with 2 batteries, all Dinotte lights can use all of their batteries and all use the same charger, flexibility, customer service |
| Weaknesses: | None that I can think of |
| Similar Products Tried: | L&M ARC (another excellent light) |
| Bike Setup: | Road Bike |
| Bottom Line: | I've been riding with this light for over a month now - (3 nights a week, 2+ hours per ride) and have to say that I really like the 600L. It gives good, even roadway illumination from the front tire out beyond 200 ft with no hotspots. I am using the "narrow beam" version - I was told by their sales people that the wide beam is really for mountain bikers who require lots of peripheral light, not roadies. I agree - the narrow beam is perfect for road riding. It provides adequate distance for riding near 30mph with plenty of "spread" so you don't feel like you are riding in a tunnel. The claimed battery life is 3.5 hours for high beam on a single charge but I have not had the opportunity to test that - my longest ride has been just over 2-1/2 hours and I have not seen the "low battery" indication yet. The light comes with 2 lithium ion batteries - not really necessary but a nice bonus. The light mounts easily to the bars and is very easy to adjust both horizontally and vertically. Once adjusted, it holds it's adjustment very well. It is also fairly easy to move the light mount from bike to bike - a very well designed mount. I hope that Dinotte keeps this mount design for future lights. A nice feature of Dinotte lights is that all of their lights work with the same batteries and the same charger - even their tail light. That makes things pretty simple and parts are pretty cheap as a result. The pre-sale customer service at Dinotte was excellent - I hope that they maintain that level of service after the sale. No complaints here. |
