$250.00 | | Purchased At: | Cycling Spoken Here | | Strengths: | Nice bike for my daughter to keep up with us all on the trails. Nice transition to a real bike with gears and hand brakes. Adjustable pedals and handle bars, keeps up with growth. | | Weaknesses: | Brakes fail after about 1 year. Need to replace cable and pads. Shifter is a bit weak, it does not take much abuse. | | Similar Products Used: | TREK MT 60 (essentially the same bike as Cosmo) - Had for my older son and had same problems | | Bike Setup: | Stock | | Bottom Line: | Expensive bike to buy and maintain, I would look for other options if I had to do it again. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$240.00 | | Purchased At: | Bike Line,Wilmington DE | | Strengths: | Well constructed.Very easy to adjust with a growing child. Black/green color combo looks good.Rear derailleur protector a great idea. | | Weaknesses: | Nothing worth mentioning. | | Similar Products Used: | Junk department store bikes. | | Bike Setup: | Stock | | Bottom Line: | Decide to buy my son a good bike after his last bike fell apart. He keeps up with me on local trails that include rocks, roots and stream crossings! We're very happy with performance of bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$225.00 | | Purchased At: | Wheatridge Cyclery | | Strengths: | Performs well for my 6 yr old. His first real MTB allows him to get on some suprisingly tough terrain. | | Weaknesses: | Don't know of how much use the shock really is. | | Bottom Line: | Great gor first MTB. Has a rear derailuer(sp?) protector which has saved it countless times. The cranks have two two positions for the pedals so kids can use the bike for at least two years. Looks good too. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
