Description:Crawl out of bed and into Frosty Boy - then stumble out the door for a wake-me-up blast on the treadly. Silky micro-fleece against your skin keeps you toasty while the WindFoil front knocks the stuffing out of chilling breezes. And when you finally work up a sweat, yank down the zip for a hit of air conditioning. The dinkum one-top-does-it-all for those who like to travel light and fast.

$60.00 | | Purchased At: | Groundeffect website | | Strengths: | Comfy, warm, breathable, decent size pocket in the back, thumb loops, wind foil on front panels. | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | jackets, sweatshirts, long cycling tops | | Bike Setup: | Scott Scale 10, Bianchi SL | | Bottom Line: | This top has seen every day riding for a couple of London winters now, and it doesn't show any sign of wear. As the weather cools off I wear the top with nothing underneath, and then as the temp drops below zero I team it up with a Ground Effect Submerino which keeps me at the perfect temp.
Easy to use web site, and delivery from NZ will take about 5-7 days!!! Best thing is that as it's shipped from NZ tax isn't added and postage generally works out cheaper than the tax, net result, if the tax man dosn't get you it's cheaper to buy it in the UK than in NZ. To avoid the tax man, make sure your order is under £50 (or send multiple orders) and send it as a gift to a friend/relative.
For $60-70 US, it's a bargain. Now, go get one! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$52.00 | | Purchased At: | Makers website | | Strengths: | Comfy, very lightweight. Useful pockets at the back. Loops in the sleeves for your thumbs when it gets real cold.
| | Weaknesses: | None | | Similar Products Used: | T-shirts, hoodies, fleeces etc. This is the first MTB specific top I have used and it was a good choice | | Bike Setup: | 2003 Kona Stinky, Mazza JrT, blah blah blah | | Bottom Line: | Utterly impressed with this. Completely comfortable and light but keeps you nuclear warm. Only your leading edges are trimmed with windproof fabric, leaving other areas to stay cool. The net effect is you become aware of other parts of your body that are still cold (hands, feet) Ground Effect's website is great, dead easy to use and overall service is of the highest level. It's so good I seriously considered getting my ass out of bed to cycle to work. If this is the type of garment you're after - no danger of dissapointment. 5 flamers all round - can't thing of anything that could have been better with this garment or Ground Effect. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
