$20.00 | | Purchased At: | internet | | Strengths: | Brute Strength!!!! This is a beast. 20mm axle compatiblity is awesome! | | Weaknesses: | Mine has a 3-bolt disc pattern, which pretty much screwed me over in the way of disc brakes. | | Bike Setup: | Voodoo Zobop, Rock Shox DHO, F-519 frnt wheel w/ White. Ind. 20mm hub, other freeride stuff | | Bottom Line: | Wow!!! This hub is strong! It is right up there with the Seismic hubs. If you get it , though, get the 6-bolt disc pattern. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Fort Silly, Ok Date Reviewed: November 7, 1999 | | Favoriate Trail: | DH/singletrack | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | HUGE 3+ flange, polished finish, axle is actually 25mm, on which the 20mm RS axle. bolts through. | | Weaknesses: | Hard to get the 25mm axles(there is one on each side) so you can stick the Rock Shox axel through. | | Similar Products Used: | Have not tried other 20mm axles. Only; XT, LX, Sovos, Alivio and a few others. | | Bike Setup: | Rocky Mtn DH race(built custom by me) with a Rock Shox Boxxer fork. The hub is on a Mammoth rim. | | Bottom Line: | This is a great quality item. One of those things that is made to a very high spec and you know you can count on it. It rolls ultra smooth and can take whatever I dish out. It is user servicable and mine is drilled for a Hayes/Shimano type disc. This hub has a HUGE flange, no doubt to transfer disc stress better and shorten the spokes, making them stronger. Ive been riding it for about 2 weeks now, and have yet to flat, but that will probably be a pain in the butt, there are 4 bolts on the fork, and the ends of the axle that I have to loosen to pull the axle out and remove the wheel. No matter, it is strong and stiff, a great quality item. It should be also noted that White Industries actually had these hubs in stock, a lot of times you run into a lot of small manufactures that dont always have their products on hand, because they do production runs of then instead of keeping em in stock, which is more expensive for the company. No complaints about White Industries, they were right on time and very helpfull when I called them. As well as a sexy sounding receptionist/tech lady. | Overall Rating: |
