    Date Reviewed: May 26, 2007
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $45.00
    Purchased At:Gerick Sports
Strengths:Cheap, looks good, solid protection, awsome fit.
Weaknesses:Foam will separate from the hard-shell after a while, but after its on your head, it doesn't move. Just glue it back in and your all good.
    Similar Products Used:Bell Vert-XT
Bike Setup:Brodie Cretin, DJ3, PIG, S-Types, Truvativ, Shimano, RaceFace, eNVy, Axiom, Oddysey...all the good stuff.
Bottom Line:Good helmet at a great price. Recommended for all riders on a budget. Unless your a hardcore XC rider, this helmet offers good ventilation, and isn't to hot for trail rides, while still remaining burly enouph for freeride. Buy one.

    Purchased At:Burkes Cycles, New Zealand
Strengths:Fits well as it comes with a number of different sized pads to put in it, wide edges to protect skull! looks cool
Weaknesses:Not much really, except becomes very sweaty when using it after a bit. Straps loosen off gradually and you have to tighten them

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $35.00
Purchased At:a bike shop in winter haven
Strengths:ventilation, is great for a skate style type helmet. I took a big hit on the head. I got rocked hard. However, the helmet had little more than a scuff.
    Weaknesses:padding
    Similar Products Used:protec helmets
Bottom Line:Price ok. Ventilation is good & there is a good color selection. Also easy to find. Even Sports Authority carries them.

    Date Reviewed: July 23, 2006
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $25.00
    Purchased At:Fat Tire Farm
    Strengths:Price, Style
    Weaknesses:Ventilation, Weight
    Similar Products Used:Protec Helmet
Bottom Line:Not a bad helmet, especially considering the price. I like to use in in the winter because it insulates well. Not so good in the summer, just too hot. I like that I can toss this helmet around and not worry about it getting ding'd up.

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $35.00
    Purchased At:Revolution Cycles in G'town
    Strengths:beefy
    not too heavy
lots of colors to pick from
    cool looking vents
Weaknesses:strap system could be more dial-inable
loud about the ear area when I'm going fast
    ok maybe a little heavy
    Similar Products Used:Triple Eight Helmet
Bike Setup:Federal Street Destroying Trackbike from hell
Bottom Line:I just happen to think the BMX/skate style helmets look way cooler than roadie/xc helmets and whatever gets you to rock one is cool. These things are pretty cheap as well...hell, you could buy three or four for the price of a pneumo...one to match each of yer bikes.
