    Purchased At:Spokes N Slopes
Strengths:Super strong helmet and great fit. It is always comfortable on my head and has taken a seriouse beating and keeps coming back for more. It is lightweight but very strong.
    Weaknesses:Nothing really.
    Similar Products Used:Mace Pack 9
Bike Setup:Norco Six, Mag 30's, Odyssey Jim C pedals.
Bottom Line:This is an amazing helmet. It just takes hit after hit without even flinching. It is lightweight and very protective without sacrificing comfort and fit. However, it is not meant to take more then one big hit and should be replaced after a taking a substantial blow.

For anyone looking for a good helmet that is to be used for downhilling and freeriding. It can even be used for some agressive trail riding because the vents work wonders and keep your head cool.

Bottom line, this is a great helmet.

Strengths:very comfortable, light, lots of vents, not to hot to wear on a hot day, good protection, very easy to put on and off with the clip and not the d rings
Weaknesses:colors(silver and red) i dunno what is up with the big point in the back, i just dont get it, paint scratches and chips pretty easily, doesnt hold googles very well with the big a** point in the back, bulky
Similar Products Used:cedric gracia bell full face(looks way sicker but isnt as comfortable)
    Bike Setup:2005 specialized sx trail
Bottom Line:this helmet is really really comfortable which is really good, i like everything on the inside, but am not to much of a fan of the outside, i guess for only paying 50 bucks its not to bad but this helmet would be really sick if it didnt have the point in the back, and it wasnt silver and red. but overall i guess performance is better than looks, and this helemt is better on the performance side

Bottom Line:SIZING - I agree with SPARKY. Try for sizing before you buy online.

I used the GIRO sizing chart but my head is 59cm (23.25in) which is the maximim for med, and minimum for large. I was unsure which way to go so I had to go and try them on.

The large was very very loose. Medium was snug and perfect, not tight at all. I would say even if my head was 60cm (23.5-24in) the medium would have been a perfect fit.

Most US products I buy is Large and fits well. But in this case medium fits perfect which is unusual for me. The sizing is on the larger scale if you understand.

    Strengths:Very good quality build.
    Extremely good protection.
    Looks really good.
Weaknesses:The outer shell is very large and bulky.
Even on the small/medium size the helmet looks huge.
The moulding on the back of the helmet is not very nice - it sticks out real bad.
    Similar Products Used:None
    Bike Setup:Kona Coiler 7in + 888's Hayes E13 Raceface DMR etc.
Bottom Line:If you are more concerned about protection than looks - get it. This helmet is very well protected.
But if you're more interested in how you look, save up more money and get a nicer moulded helmet.
I suppose safety is more important than looks anyway, but that's for you to decide...

Strengths:For the money, this helmet looks tops. And the fit is as snug as you like. Tried a few other and couldn't quite find one that sat comfortably on the back of my head, where my skull slopes down to meet my neck. Fits Oakley goggles nicely, nice a ventilated when cruising downhill.
Weaknesses:D rings are a pain in the arse. When pushing back uphill in the winter I'm likely to take my helemt off, but to put it back on I've got to take the gloves of. Not good during a Uk winter! A little hot during summer, so wouldn't recommend for anything but downhill or freeride. Paint comes off pretty easily - but these are just minor gripes. It's otherwise great.
Similar Products Used:661 Full Comp, 661 Full Bravo, Troy Lee
    Bike Setup:Orange 224 - pretty standard
Bottom Line:If you're low on money because you've pumped all your cash in to your bike, and you don't like the hard looks of 661, or the really 'round' look of a few others, you'd be mad to pass this helemt by. It's got some great lines and looks awsome.

Strengths:like some others have said, any great helmet that doesn't fit is not that great. A hazard too. My noggin fit inside its interior quite well. It's taken hits and comes back, even after several dismounts and tosses No damage except for scratches. i haven't had problems with the double d rings with full finger gloves. straps stay snug when cinched. mine has a good color scheme too.
Weaknesses:being my 1st full face, I can't say there is anything that annoys me.
Similar Products Used:none- first full face owned
Bike Setup:Kona Stab Supreme Marzocchi 888rc Ringle' Sun mxt wheels
Bottom Line:helmet is being replaced by a new model this year. And I am up for a new one(sponsorship deal) So the Giro works very nicely when you need it too.

    Purchased At:Jubliee Cycles, Vancouver
Strengths:Excellent helmet! Very good fit and padding, very good ventilation, looks awesome :)
Weaknesses:Nothing. the best helmets out there for the price
Similar Products Used:Bell Tension (way too hot), Louis Garneau fullface (doesn't fit too well, weak)
Bike Setup:Norco Shore 02 (pretty much stock with a few minor components like pedals, wheels, etc upgraded).
Bottom Line:No matter how many people on here say this helmet is the best (which it is), the bottom line is that it's all about fit. You can have the strongest helmet but if it slips and slides it's not gonna do much to abosrb impact when you crash. If the helmet does fit you, I'd definetly recommend it - it's probably the best balance out there between strength and ventilation.

Weaknesses:Expensive in this country, makes you do stupid things you wouldn't usually do. Holding goggle straps is not it's forte
    Similar Products Used:Bell Bellistic

Bottom Line:EVERY person even related with bikes told me not to get the bell bellistic because of safety issues.. Then the shop had problems getting them in so I lashed out and got the mad max instead, much safer i'm told. Much more comfortable, not too hot, bloody sexy and a freeriders/downhillers dream when faced with the price tag of a D2. Hell yeah i'm going riding!
