from Columbus, OH Date Reviewed: November 19, 2007 | | Favoriate Trail: | Marathon trail, UT | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | LIGHTER THAN CHRIS KING, and better designed...That's right, I said better designed than KING. Larger bearing, no bearing drop (resulting in water accumulation) from cup to bearing top, and less expensive! | | Weaknesses: | None. period. | | Similar Products Used: | Cane Creek, King, Dia Compe | | Bike Setup: | Titus FCR, XT, Sunline, Spinergy, Manitou, Thompson, Truvativ etc. | | Bottom Line: | These headsets were designed by a semi-pro DH racer who just left Cali to Colorado. I have one of the first protoypes Sunline received, and it has been phenomenal. Skeptical as to the difference a headset could make, thsi chunk of hardware has opened my eyes. Well built with technical features not found on any Cane Creek licensed headset (that's about ALL others)and super-light, I will have this on every bike I own. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
