a Downhiller
from Salisbury Date Reviewed: July 6, 2002
Favorite Trail:
anywhere with jumps and downhill
Duration Product Used:
6 months
Price Paid:
$30.00
Purchased At:
with bike
Strengths:
very light, reduces trail shock a lot, cheap. Would be good for XC or very light DH.
Weaknesses:
very weak, mine have a bend in them. They flex so much it is scary at times.
Similar Products Used:
(loads on other bikes, im getting DMR wingbars now)
Bike Setup:
DDG shooter, maguras, rigid (at time of review anyway)
Bottom Line:
go for them if you do cross country or light DH but otherwise avoid. A bit too flexy for trials and bends a lot on big drops even though I dont weigh very much (55kg). not confidence inspiring
