      Date Reviewed: 6/26/2004 8:04:41 PM
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Purchased At: Azonic
Strengths: Seems strong, nice end caps come with the bar, Azonic brand usually indicates quality
Weaknesses: weight, and a little short for my taste
Similar Products Tried: Bontager Superstock, Titec Hellbent XC 1" rise
      Bike Setup: Fisher Sugar+
Bottom Line: Azonic says the bar weighs 138 grams. Mine is well over 200 grams. Basically, it weighs as much as the Titec Hellbent XC 1", but is a lot narrower (and doesn't have a rise, but that's not important since I wanted to go back to flat). I am really dissapointed with Azonic for their misleading advertising. They are usually a quality company.

It is not what I would call a good XC race bar because of the weight. Don't be fooled and try to lighten up your ride with one of these. It would be a good bar for those looking for a narrow flat bar that won't bend or break and don't mind something kind of heavy.

      Date Reviewed: 3/10/2003 8:45:49 AM
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $16
      Purchased At: Online
      Strengths: Light and cheap
Weaknesses: Not as light as advertised, a little on the short side.
Bottom Line: They claim this bar is 138g and in my case and in one other case it come out weighing more. Mine is 156g or 150g without the end caps. The bar may be a little short for you depending on your tastes.
Not a bad bar, so far, if you find it for cheap.
