from London, UK Date Reviewed: March 6, 2008 | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Purchased At: | the bike shop I worked in many moons ago | | Strengths: | Light weight, stiff enough not to flex excessively yet still compliant eough to be comfortable | | Weaknesses: | Thin wall thickness so easily crushed by bar ends | | Bike Setup: | Old school rigid steel Trek mtb, xt thumbies, bar ends, Middleburn RS7's, Goldtec hubs, RooX seatpin, the list goes on and on haha.. | | Bottom Line: | Originally bought them as a replacement for my heavy old steel bars and don't regret it in any way.. Hed them since 1998-99 and they're still going strong.. I've given them the highest chilli ratings as although they were expensive in their day I'm still using them to this day, can't really get much better value than that.. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$45.00 | | Purchased At: | Chain reaction cycles | | Strengths: | Keeps your chin off your stem... Oh! and it gives you something to hold onto... | | Weaknesses: | I squashed the ends with bar ends | | Bike Setup: | Santacruz superlight | | Bottom Line: | I havent had any problems with this bar, its lasted 4000 miles of off road and commuting. Its been for me one of those fit and forget parts... But i want to try a riser bar soon... Ive been riding flat bars for 4 years now, I'll think ill convert to the dark side (just to see) | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
