$20.00 | | Purchased At: | Airbomb.com | | Strengths: | How many different words are there for f@#*in' STRONG! | | Weaknesses: | If you're concerned about weight, you bought the wrong bar | | Similar Products Used: | First riser | | Bike Setup: | Freeride hardtail | | Bottom Line: | This bar was worth every penny of the $29 CDN dollars i paid for it. The difference between this bar and my old lightweight aluminum flatbar is just plain silly. I can actually feel my fork working now, not my bar flexing. There is so much difference in the amount of response in my steering, and it gives you a better feel of the trail altogether. What a wicked bar and at a sweet pricepoint. Give it 5 SWOLLEN ASSES for this one. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Marin County, CA Date Reviewed: March 13, 2001 | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Strength and durability | | Weaknesses: | It's heavy, but IT IS a downhill bar...so it really does not matter to me. | | Similar Products Used: | Answer and Profile | | Bike Setup: | '00 Giant ATX DH-1 Team, '00 Boxxer, Koski StrongHold DH stem, Hope DH-04 front brake, Hayes Hyd. rear brake, WTB MotoRaptor 2.4 DH tires, WTB Speed V Saddle | | Bottom Line: | The Koski DH-6 bar is the burliest bar I have ever laid hands on. It is made from very thick 6061-T6. It has the same geometry as the Koski XC Pro Gold bars I have on my Bullit. The 12° backsweep with the 5° upsweep allow the bars to be perfectly adjusted to my wrist position. Like I said, they're heavy, but the bike weighs 46 lbs. so what's a few extra grams? The blasted and anodized finish is cool too. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
