There is no flex at all, and the rise is great. I also installed a shorter stem in conjunction with the bar and it really made a difference in handling. I read some comments about removing the crossbar, which I would not recommend. It is there for a reason...STRENGTH. It would suck if the bar broke because this was removed. Not a good idea. I also read about creaking due t the cross bar. The reason that this happens is that the brackets are out of alignment. Simply loosen the brackets and they will position themselves perfectly, re-tighten and the creeking is gone. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

UK retail of £15.00 and they come with a brace for extra strength. These were my first ever pair of riser bars and I found absolutely no problems with them at all!

-When the crossbar is completely tightened down, it makes creaks from the pressure. I fixed this by using some eighth inch sheet rubber and electricians tape. The brace can be added or removed depending on the type of ride. The brace can be removed to save weight and add flexibility, but it's still pretty heavy. For XC racing, use a lighter bar, for DH, this may be a good one (incredibly stiff with the brace), for freeriding (God, I hate that term) this is a well-rounded bar that will never let you down. Quality-wise, it's in the middle of the pack, but the extra low price puts it at the top of the bang-for-the-buck heap. | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |
