    Strengths:Cheap, strong, great finish
Weaknesses:Only came in silver (that might be MY weakness though)
    Similar Products Used:First riser bar
    Bike Setup:hardtail
Bottom Line:My first riser and I can't complain one bit. Perfect rise, sweep, and width as clamped to my Kore Elite stem. Durable bead blasted finish and graphics are surprising at the low price. I guess it's kind of heavy, though I have never noticed or cared, especially for $20, and it is riser bar after all. I ride mostly XC and it's more than ride and crash worthy for that purpose, but if it ever somehow did break I would immediately buy another one.

Bottom Line:Great bars. Not enough rise for me. I prefer the Easton Monkey Bars personally. However, I have never seen a bar take such abuse as these Titec Hell Bents! I ride urban freeride all the time and huck stairs, gaps, treerides, and the occassional car bonk. Nothing wrong with the bars! They are tuff as nails! If your looking for something that takes a beating from a former 20" dirtjumper then these are the bars for you. Buy them now, save money because you won't be replacing them for a long.long.long time.

Bottom Line:Get it if you want an all-around quality bar. Everything is great about it from the design to the paint finish. Might not be the best bar for full-on DH, but it's excellent for everything else. In my book, the best bar out there for the price!

Bottom Line:Great improvement to my bike. I was hesitant to go to a riserbar--I thought I liked having my hands so far below my butt! This bar puts me in a good position to ride, gives better control of the bike, and improved confidence on the downhills. I haven't missed my bar ends as much as I thought I would, either. We'll see if it holds up, as I'm a pretty heavy rider, but I'm glad I made the change.

Strengths:Tough, Tough, Tough. Cool looking logos and nice blue color.
I like the positioning lines on the bar, really help to during installation. No creaking whatsoever.
Weaknesses:Could be heavy to some but I think its light as hell. And when it is this tough, who cares about 1 or 2 extra grams.
Similar Products Used:Giant stock riser bar- Heavy and creaky as shi*.
Bike Setup:Giant Warp DS3, Raceface Prodigy crankset & SRX BB. Titec Hellbent Bars and Knucklehead stem. Cheapass freeride, but its all I can afford.
Bottom Line:Can't say enought about this piece of work. Crashed a couple of times hard and twisted the hell out of them. No nothin. These don't even scratch easy. Plus the logos look sweet. My stock handlebars creaked, moaned and groaned. These are extremely stiff and responsive. Haven't hear a peep out of them yet. Light and strong. It doesn't get any better and the price is unbeatable. Need any more reasons. The mild sweep is good for freeriding or cross country. If you want downhill action go get the DH Trucker bar. No complaints and 5 chilli rellenos.

With the Titec, the extra 2 inches of width (25 vs 23 flat bar), not including the extra inch the flat bar's bar ends take up, really makes a difference. Bottom Line:Of all the handlebars I've tried I like the Titec Ti Hellbent is my favorite. What feels right for one rider may not suit the next. But for me, the angles are just right, and it has a very solid feel. It's well made from good material, and anyone who breaks one is using it very hard. Although the bar is wider than many, I'd like an additional inch or so. Hayes brakes, Shimano index shifters, and a long ODI grips take up a lot of length. If the grip area of these bars was any shorter, it wouldn't be enough. Unfortunately the bar is available in only one rise, and even with the tall Azonic "0" stem, it wasn't high enough. So, my favorite bar sits in a box while I ride with the Easton.
