Description:Our lightest cross-country riser bar is cold-drawn triple-butted AL-7050-TV alloy, the same high-strength material used in Truvativ's Stylo and Holzfeller high-end racing cranksets. The same properties that make AL-7050-TV the ideal choice for lightweight but extremely strong cranksets also makes it ideal for our handlebars. This material makes a bar significantly lighter than other alloys yet at the same time stronger and more fatigue resistant. In other words, perfect for your handlebars. 5-degree backsweep and 8-degree upsweep. Two rises--25mm or 45mm--and two widths--680mm or 710mm--offer a variety of sizing options. 25.4mm bar clamp diameter. For cross-country use. Blast polish black or full polish black/silver.

Bottom Line:The Truvativ team bars were great, much nicer & a respectable weight compared to the Truvativ Hussefelts. Unfortunately I purchasede a 2" rise which turned out to be too much for my set up. I really liked these bars but am replacing them with some Race Face Deus 1" risers instead.
Truvativ makes excellent components for a fantastic value price!

Strengths:Super light, NICE 2.5" high rise, stiff. These bars are exactly whatr i was looking for. I ride Urban and needed a light bar, with highrise, that would be strong enough to handle the impact or urban assault.
Weaknesses:The bars take a long time to taper down from the 31.8 clamp to the standard diameter for grips and controlls. I run a 24.5" hanglebar and had to pry my brake lever open in order to force it down the bar as far as i wanted it.
Similar Products Used:Specialized DH bar, Evolve DH, Evolve XC.
Bike Setup:Giant STP, Pike 426, Mamoth rims, Singlespeed cassette hub, Team Risebar, Vice stem, Ultimate V-Brakes, Holy Roller tires.
Bottom Line:Get these bars. No mater what kind of riding you do if theyre light enough for you theyre defenitly strong enough. Just check yuor controll set-up befor you cut your bars.
