| FavoriteTrail: | Pontiac / Stoney Creek |
| Duration Product Used: | 1 Year |
| Purchased At: | Dick's Sporting Goods |
| Strengths: | very comfortable, not to big or too small, very grippy and resists slipping/rotating |
| Weaknesses: | Melts in your hands if it sits out in the sun for too long. The graphics tend to either get torn away or just wear off. My grips were toast (bald) after a year of light trail and heavy urban riding |
| Similar Products Tried: | Kona grips on various kona bikes |
| Bike Setup: | Came with Diamondback Response xc bike |
| Bottom Line: | These grips are very comfortable and will hold up for 6-7 months of riding (about one riding season). I'm not sure how much they cost by themselves, but be sure to keep them out of the sun in the summer. I live in Michigan, so if you're much farther south, you may want to look elsewhere. I didn't use gloves with these grips, so if you do, some of the issues I had may not apply. |
