Bottom Line:These grips are great. They are super sticky, no problem with twisting like others have said. I love the design, devil on one side and angle on the other, and the red color looks sweet on the all black bike. Bottom line though these things work sweet and the price is pretty cheap so you wont worry as much about when you have to replace them. Only down side was they were a pain in the ass to put on, had to use WD-40 to slip them on. Im giving them a perfect score.

Similar Products Used:Profile, ritchey, stock Rocky mtn.
Bike Setup:Rocky Mountain Hammer w/ thudbuser.
Bottom Line:I loved these grips from the first ride. Their shape is perfect. The slight bulge in the center keeps the outside of my hand from hurting. The Thickness is also great for my large hands and shock absorbing. My only complaint would be the textured area that your fingers touch could use a few more ridges of rubber to help give you a stickier feeling. Haven't had long enough to find the durability. They are also a little hard to find. Great grip!

    Purchased At:Duke's Cycle
Strengths:Look nice in two-tone black and red, are made by Race Face.
Weaknesses:Too thick, too squishy, and have an annoying tendency to slide around even though they're tightly wired down to my handlebar.
    Similar Products Used:Specialized grips.
Bike Setup:Specialized Hardrock, Race Face Low Rise Alloy handlebar, Shimano Deore drivetrain.
Bottom Line:These grips just didn't suit me very well. I have small hands, so it's difficult for me to feel comfortable wrapping my fingers around these grips. People with larger hands will be able to hold these grips comfortable, but I cannot. I also cannot get past the excessive squishiness of the rubber. I find it annoying that the grips turn and twist around, especially because they have an asymmetrical design pattern on them. Just an aesthetic problem though. 5 flamin' turd-balls for value because they were cheap and worked well for a long time, 3 for overall because they didn't suit me very well and are too squishy.

    Strengths:Thick, comftorable, raceface!
    Weaknesses:--none worth mentioning
    Bike Setup:Trek stp200
Bottom Line:These are huge grips. Really thick, really comftorable.
I had trouble getting the one to stick on ( i got one to stick perfect with hairspray) The other i tried everything, soaking in water, alcohol, hairspray..
Then i got this idea, i had a can of photo mount spray glue.
I put hairspray on the bar, and sprayed a bit of photo mount spray glue into the grip and slid it on real quick.
I hope that provides all the stiction it needs, it so far feels great.

These grips are fattys, lot thicker than my old bontragers, definatly feels nice to get your hand around them with or without gloves. Rock on.

Bottom Line:Wow, these grips sure are tacky. Nice, real nice. Gotta love them graphics! They stick well to your hand and provide a good cushioning. I have to agree with the other review, in that I did loose some "feel" for the terrain. Or maybe its just that I dont feel every bump vibrate through my hands & arms, causing fatigue and pain anymore.

Only downside I can think of is that they slip a little easy around my bar.

Strengths:Durable & comfy... can't ask for too much more.
Weaknesses:Integrated bar ends. I ride with bar-ends on my bike, so I had to bust the ends off of 'em to get my bar-ends to fit.

Bike Setup:A soon-too-be full XTR/Avid/Race Face setup on a yet-to-be determined full-suspension or carbon or ti hardtail. Yeah... that's it.
Bottom Line:These are great grips. I bought them on the suggestion of a bike shop employee and have really enjoyed them. I have ridden them with and without gloves and they feel great either way. As your hands start to perspire, they do start to feel a bit sticky, but that helps with your grip. After more than 6 months of hard riding, they're still going strong.

Strengths:Can I still say ERGONOMIC - Unless you palm is flat and I don't want to knwo why, then your grip should fit the contour of the human hand.
