    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $17.00
    Purchased At:Copeland Sports
Strengths:Nice grip... Since it was my 1st lock-on grips I was just satisfied with the feel with or without gloves. Soft feel, Doesn't wear out fast, clamps doesn't look cheap...
Weaknesses:Grip graphic design (own preference), end caps are not thick compared to Odi. Crome clamps, which it was all black for stealth look.
Similar Products Used:Lizard Skin, Forte lock-on grips
Bike Setup:Jamis Dakar XLT 3.0, Marz MXC, Thompson Elite and X4 seatpost & stem, Race Face Diabolus handlebar, Race Face Ride XC crankset with bash guard, Shimano XT drivetrain, Hayes El Camino brakeset, Mavic 819 with XT hubs wheelset, etc.
Bottom Line:This is a good pair of grips if you want the grips but not the looks; Odi is better. Very grippy! I would suggest this lock-on grips for those who wants mid level pair of grips.

Strengths:They remind me of heaven on earth...
Weaknesses:Not verry soft, but not to hard either though.
Similar Products Used:Salsa juegos fuego, ati, gripshift.
Bike Setup:They where mounted on a Yaston EA50 monkey bar
Bottom Line:They do there work with no fuss. Not the softest grips and not the moast durable but totally acceptable for the price. The only reason I like these grips more than any other grip is the name and motive on the grip. If you can get a grip for the price of any other good grip that reminds me of Moab I won't hesitate a second.

The sad thing is that the bike I had my Moab grips on was stolen. Fortunately I'm going to Moab this summer again. I will take that chance and stock up on a bunch of moab grips. I'll get dual density this time.

Bottom Line:Wow these grips are really worthless! I installed them on my bike and after less than two months all of the raised grip area is worn off. Within another month they will be worn completely through! The previous grips on this bike lasted two seasons.

Purchased At:Mark de Bruin (the Netherlands)
Strengths:A lot of grip! Nice model.
Weaknesses:Wears very quickly and if have the coloured version they get dirty and sticky very fast.
Maybe a littlebit on the slim side so it tend to feel a bit hard.
    Similar Products Used:Bontrager Comp/ODI
    Bike Setup:Gary Fisher Sugar4 - Full XTR - Mavic Crossmax XL UST -Marzocchi Marathon S - Thomson Elite stem/post. It's a beauty.
Bottom Line:There good "grippy" grips, but don't use them for marathon-racing, because the don't absorb shocks that well, wich is very frustating on long rides.
So bottom line: They are not too expensive and they have good grip but they need to have more comfort! Good for training maybe, due to the fact that they wear very quickly!

    Bike Setup:Giant Sedona
Bottom Line:While I liked the Lizard Skins at first, after a couple of months I found that I had worn most of the 'tread' away and that the grips became very sticky. While stickness is a good thing in a grip, leaving residue in your hands is not.

Strengths:-They're long, giving you plenty of hand room.
-Come in transparent "color", which looks kinda neat.
-Hands stick better to it than other grips, in my opinion.
Weaknesses:-Not the greatest when wet (but then again, I have yet to try a grip that functions well when wet)
-They are a little hard on the hands, but not much more than any other grip.
    Similar Products Used:Salsa, GT, Bontrager
    Bike Setup:GT Avalanche
Bottom Line:These grips are great. Most grips provide you with just enough grip to fit your hand over. These grips are about 1" to 2" longer than most, giving you more hand room. Of course, this moves your shifters and brake levers inward more, but you can trim the grip. In fact, I think there's even a little template on the grip for you to follow if you want to trim. I didn't, because I like the extra hand room.

When your hands are dry, these grips are without a doubt the greatest. The material they use seems to be somewhat sticky, but maybe it's just because of the design. Unlike Lizard Skins, most manufacturers seem to think that placing lots of treads on a grip give you traction. This is not the case! Treads only reduce the contact area between your hands and the grips. With the Lizard Skins, you get an outstanding grip.

These are a little hard on the hands. Unfortunately, grips that are heavily padded reduce your grip. The padding twists, and allows your hand to move. I've yet to see a grip that has lots of padding that gives me a good hold.

If needed, use some gloves with these grips. They are by far the best, in my opinion.
