      FavoriteTrail: Canal Loop, LBL
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $5
      Purchased At: Wood n Wave
Strengths: LOTS of grip. Good uniform pattern on entire grip. Not bulky. Cushions hands well. Very sticky.
      Weaknesses: None so far.
      Bike Setup: K2 Attack 2.0
Bottom Line: Very nice grip at a great price. Simple design. Raised honeycomb pattern does a great job of providing grip, cushion, and practically adheres to my hands or gloves. I like the uniform pattern on the entire grip, you know exactly what you're holding on to no matter where you hands are placed. Nice low profile design too. I would recommend for all riders.

Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $10
      Purchased At: LBS
Strengths: Comfortable, no weird designs like lizards. I bought these grips because this look like they dampen vibrations well and they look great. So far I'm very pleased with them. They are Dual compound which means to me that they are sturdy yet soft.
      Weaknesses: None
Similar Products Tried: Stock grips on Rockhopper
Bike Setup: 2002 dual suspention Specialized Rockhopper. LX Drive train exept shifters. LX crank, Judy C fork, fox float rear 4", sette xlr bars( .75inch riser), LX brake levers, rim brakes(still work great but not as sexy as disks), Blackburn quadrant light, XC fire pro tires(love them). XT hubs with Ryno lite rims--Rest is stock.
Bottom Line: Great grips! I like the honey cone look and they feel great. What else do you want from a grip. To install just use a little water or hair spray. Avoid the soap and other tacktics they are not nessesary.

      FavoriteTrail: anywhere off pavement
      Duration Product Used: 6 months
Purchased At: Walt's Cycle & Fitness
Strengths: It's grippy, really grippy. It almost feels like glue is stuck to your hand, if you're actually gripping it.
Weaknesses: Long rides cause callaces due to the very large blocks of rubber. Somewhat soft at first, but wears away faster than I expected. It's hard now, since it's quite worn away. But, I don't mind it being hard, it doesn't bother me.
Similar Products Tried: None that I remember, I just got into MTB-ing
Bike Setup: Came w/ my TREK 3900, an entry-level hardtail
Bottom Line: If you simply want something grippy as hell and w/ large blocks of rubber, but w/o the need for something soft, this is the right grip for you. Not recommended for those who ride often or need something comfortable.
