from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada Date Reviewed: March 9, 2008 | | Favoriate Trail: | Freight Train to Dirt Merchant to lower A-line | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | Western Cycle | | Strengths: | Extremely strong, stiff frame. Has excellent component spec for the price. Geometry is as close to perfect as I've been able to find. Light (in comparison to a Kona Cowan and Brodie Brute). It's super easy to get up on the back tire. | | Weaknesses: | Personally, I'm not a fan of riser bars, so I switched to a flatter bar. Cable routing isn't as clean as it could be. | | Similar Products Used: | Trek Jack, Brodie Brute, Gary Fisher Mullet, Cannondale Chase, Rocky Mountain Flow, Kona Cowan, Specialized P3 | | Bike Setup: | Stock, except for Race Face Diablous Bar and Stem | | Bottom Line: | This bike is purpose built for dirt jumping. It is not designed for Cross country, and shouldn't be compared to a cross country bike. If you are looking for a bomb-proof bike to handle all of you airing needs, this is it. The parts are solid, and the frame can take anything. But if you are looking for a fersatile hardtail to handle a wide range of riding, this isn't the bike for you. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2000.00 | | Purchased At: | Private Party | | Strengths: | Great Bike | | Weaknesses: | None | | Bottom Line: | Great Bike. I dont know what else to say about it. It can go on mountain trails and up the hills it was easy peddling. It seemed like it wants to work with you and also lets you get a good workout. For me being asthmatic, I thought it was going to strain my asthma as others have, however, I didnt find the same strain as I have with other bikes. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
