from Pacifica, CA. USA Date Reviewed: February 23, 2008 | | Favoriate Trail: | boyscout | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Purchased At: | ventana | | Strengths: | plush ride climbs great. descends great. holds a line great. very stiff frame. quad bearings are better than single bearings and keep things torsionly strong. this frame is fun to climb descend and jump. | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | ellsworth and turner frames | | Bike Setup: | fox dhx 5.0 coil shock, fox 36 talas rc2 fork. gravitydropper seatpost. | | Bottom Line: | bottom line this frame kicks a$$. one thing this frame has over other frames like ellsworth and turner and other frames is plushness. it's designed into it. you can't get the other frames to be this plush trust me i tried. so what that means with the new rear shocks nowadays this bike climbs like others do and is plush on the downhills. if you check out the classified here i have a tradein frame any size sitting at ventana waiting to be sold. one last thing i tried everything to get my turner to absorb the bumps on the uphills and downhills and tec sections but the ventana blew it away. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2195.00 | | Purchased At: | Adventure Bikes | | Strengths: | Exceptional build and quality. Solid ride. PLUSHness you can feel. This is the plushest bike I have ridden. Tough and beautiful powder coat finish. Climbs with ease and soaks-up all the bad stuff going down like it was having it for breakfast. | | Weaknesses: | Limited stock colors | | Similar Products Used: | Santa Cruz Bullit, Ellsworth ID, Moment, Epiphany | | Bike Setup: | Marzocchi All Mountain SL, AVID Juicy 7 brakes, XTR groupset | | Bottom Line: | This is one beautiful and tough frame. Such clean lines and awe inspiring wrap around welds and a beautiful powdercoat finish. This frame makes for a balanced bike and it pedals so efforlessly both going up and down. It certailnly looks and feels like a jewel and is worth every greenback you spend for her. Hold the frame and you know you have a solid frame that will last you years of fun going down aggresive single track. The best frame I've owned from the ones I've listed above. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
