I got the medium size, suits me, Im 178 cm long and weigh in at 100kg (im well-muscled ;) ). | | Weaknesses: | Have not figured out how to tune the fork yet. The instruction manual (Marzoccis) is bad. I suspect I have to add some more air in it, perhaps even some oil, but the oil might be pretty hard since I dont know how to get into the fork.
The double front cogs may have to go, as it have already jammed and wont go on the lower cog, also some chainsuck already. The stuff to make it a 9-speed is included though, thats neat. I didn't really like the Marzocchi fork, it just didn't seem that smooth on smaller stuff. So I just orderred a Nitrous 10 with the Manitou Sherman on it. (Look for my review on that in a couple weeks.)
I can't stress how impressed I was with how it handled in rock gardens. Oh almost forgot... it climbed better than my trail bike for short rocky climbs, long ones were more tiring because the extra weight.
Oh and as for who should buy it, someone looking for a bike that bombs down rough downhill trails feeling like a DH bike or a bike that can handle medium size drops but then can still ride on flat trails keeping up with your friends on their trail bikes, or climb without all the weight or extreme DH geometry.
(68.5 head angle, I thought that was steeper than I wanted but it handled great decending)

The bike feels like one piece of metel. The eta on the bombproof Z1 fork is a blessing for the climbs and the low maintenance manitou metel coil over shock works just fine for all comditions. It's also one of the best looking bikes out there. The Marzoochi Z1 is capable of pretty much anything I've thrown so far. The geometry is more on the all mountain side so it pedals great.
