Description:OGC Expandable seatbag

Submitted by Stinkfoot a Weekend Warrior from Toronto, Ontario
Date Reviewed: September 5, 1999
Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
Expandable bag, small pocket in lid with slots for allen keys.
Weaknesses:
Expensive, seat attachment breaks immediately.
Similar Products Used:
Mountain Equipment Co-op seat bag.
Bike Setup:
Kona Lava Dome, Marzocchi z5
Bottom Line:This bag looked great to begin with, it expands when you need it to and the small zippered compartment was great for holding allen keys, spoke wrench, chain tool, all of the little stuff that always ends up in the bottom. However, about an hour into my second ride with this bag, the stitching attaching the bag to the seat post attachment ripped completely off. I took the bag back that day, got a replacement and two rides later, sure enough, it broke again in the exact same place. This time when I brought it back the shop owner gave me a refund, pulled all of the remaining OGC Klickfix bags off his shelf, and sent them back.
So, despite the great design of the bag itself, since it falls off after less than five hours of riding, one flaming dump is all I can muster.
Overall Rating:1
