What can I say? It handles everything and then calls me a pu$$y for not going faster. The geometry and suspension platform do amazingly well in steep, rocky, and really gnarly situations. The chainstay (length: 16.9") is really nice because it won't high-center on rocks / obstacles and it enables the bike to jump VERY well. It pedals like a bike with half it's travel (I have mine set up at 8.2" which is perfect) and makes downhilling just that much more fun.
The stock componentry is pretty nice for the pricetag, but I will say that it is a bit heavy at about 45 lbs. That aside this bike is incredible and I'm having trouble saying enough good things about it... and I've never had people 'eye hump' my bike before, but I get it a lot with this bike 8)
Definitely go to your local Scott dealer and check one out. You will NOT be disappointed!! 5 flaming turds.

bike set up at 8.2" travel setting, 64 degree head angle, and 16.9" chainstay. it's sweet. | | Bottom Line: | This bike is sweet. Super adjustable with 3 travel settings (7.5, 8.2, and 9.5"), 2 head angle adjustments (between 64 and 66), and chainstay length (16.9 and 17.3).
This bike is very stable at high speeds, steeps, and drops nicely. Overall I'd say a very sweet dh race bike.
