Duration Product Used:
2 Years
Price Paid:
$1900.00
Purchased At:
some shop i found on google
Strengths:
The frame is built to last, apart from the derailleur i cant fault the strength of the frame. The shock completely compliments it too. Brakes are good and perfect for stopping this monster.
Weaknesses:
Derailleur hanger thread is permament but de threads easily therefore you need to drill through the hanger to make fit a drop out saver(can be awkward). Forks from stock rebound too slowly and erm... also the seat post bolts will give in after some use as the tube gets a micrometer thinner from the post after a year or two, buy a brand x bolt to solve the problem. thats it really can't fault anything else

I've rode my friends bikes but never rode another one like this which i have owned.
Bike Setup:
Muddyfox D3 frame, Funn full on bars/stem, ODI rogues, Hayes HFX9 with clear goodridges, Alex DH 32 rims, Truvativ husselfelt cranks, MRP system 3 alloy chainguide, SRAM x 9/9sp chain(with powerlink)/x9 trigger shift/and sram cassette of some description, Da Bomb Da Chariot seat(bomb boy) and a Da Bomb Mortar post. Also my lovely gold brand x seat clamp bolt and DMR v8's.
Bottom Line:
I would say worth the money if you were out to ride however there are some issues i have had with this bike which have costed a bit, however i dont think they sellt hese anymore. The frame is a beefcake and i would trust it more or less on anything i have or am preparing to do never doubted its strength. The setup from standard is good but you would be inclined to change it after some time
