Submitted by Clark Hawke a Downhiller from Sydney, NSW, Australia
    Date Reviewed: June 13, 2007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Purchased At:Rouler Imports
Strengths:Slack headangle for stability at speed, rails corners better than my IH Sunday used to, centered weight makes the bike soo easy to move around.
Nicolais 5 year warrenty which even covers racing.
Weaknesses:Time you have to wait after ordering as the bikes are built to your personal specifications.
Maybe 14 gears is a bit unecessary for such a racer frame however it is nice to be able to pedal it around at the bottom of the track.
Bike Setup:Nicolai Evo frame, Boxxer World cup, Avid juicy Carbon brakes, Deity bars, Mavic 721 wheels laced to a front Hadley and a rear Nicolai hub
Bottom Line:A bike dedicated to racing. The geometry and weight distribution of the frame makes this bike so easy to move through techy sections, hold speed extremly well and rails harder than any other bike i have ridden. The price of the frame may turn some people away but when you consider what you are getting with the frame (cranks, shock and the whole drive chain set up). This frame is perfect for racers it gives instant confidence boost in your riding allowing you to push yourself that bit more.
Bottom line - this is a fast frame... I never want to own a bike which is not a Nicolai now.
