| Strengths: |
Light weight, Frame layout |
| Weaknesses: |
cable routing and no shock protection only minor niggles |
| Similar Products Tried: |
orange 223, appalache real. |
| Bike Setup: |
03 superT's, saints, pro2 on ex721CD, thomson, funn, maxxis |
| Bottom Line: |
Awesome frame, ride soooo well due to all the weight being at the bottom, making the CG really low. It rails round berms, its also plush as hell. taking it out to france this year wonder how it will cope with the braking bumps |

| Strengths: |
stiff, and plush on rockgardens, easy to handle, corners fast and pedals very well, agree with others in this reviews in all the positives |
| Weaknesses: |
non so far, agree on the need for a floating rear disc, but I got one from brake therapy and hapily ever after |

| Bottom Line: |
Great bike, I have NO regrets of buying this frame, I moved the parts from my M-1, and rode it for 3 DH sessions, and decided to sell the Intense. I love my Avent Vandal, I think is a great bike well designed and fair priced, no need to pay more for same performance. I will recomend it to any Dowhiller or FR'er. Will not disapoint. |

| Strengths: |
Strong, stable, plush, light for a DH 9" travel frame, great steering at high speed, awesome overall handling, great bearings, pedal platform a plus |
| Weaknesses: |
maybe the cable routing, should have a one way all housing for rear deraileur and a floating rear brake as an option |
| Similar Products Tried: |
Demo-9, Kona stabprimo, S Cruz V-10, Intense M1 & M3 |
| Bike Setup: |
all Shimano Saint, Bombshell wheels, Bombshell Kamikaze fork That I have since '02 and still the best fork ever! Magura Gustav disc brakes, Kenda tires |
| Bottom Line: |
This frame is as good as any of the ones I have used, and cost half or less, great quality and performance, will not brake your bank account and will take you to the podium with no hasless |

Avent Cycles - Prototype |
| Strengths: |
Lightweight at 9.5lbs, extremely plush, Swinger 6 Way, well priced and looks pretty good. |
| Weaknesses: |
None really - tyre clearance on this proto was tight but the production version has longer stays to combat this. |
| Similar Products Tried: |

Boxxer WC 7", Hayes Mags, Bombshell Switchit hubs on Fat Daddy rims |
| Bottom Line: |
An awesome frame with all the right bits - works well and will definately be a winner on the race scene |
