Description: The biggest advantage of the Nucleon TFR as an enduro frame is the protected G-Boxx shifting in impassable, rough terrain and in bad weather. The overall range of gears of the G-Boxx is equivalent to a 27 gear derailleur setup but avoids the derailleur’s susceptibility to damage from rocks and roots. The wide, rigid, swingarm with 167 mm of rear travel, as well as compatibility for forks of up to 170 mm, means that the TFR is good for hardcore usage in any kind of terrain.

    Date Reviewed: August 23, 2005
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $8000.00
    Purchased At:CasinoBicycles.com
Strengths:Very strong, lots of travel. No deraillers.
Weaknesses:none so far, just slightly heavier then a XC bike. 40lbs. Maybe not used to it yet.
Similar Products Used:None I can think of.
Bike Setup:Marzocchi 66RC, Manitou 6 way, Monkey lite DH, Thomson Elite, Sun Single track, Hope 6ti and Mono4, Sram hollow pin chains,
Bottom Line:At 40lbs. its a little of a workout to pedal uphill. But on downhill, its all fun. The G-Boxx makes it so easy to shift in the right gear b4 u need to pedal again. Dont have to worry about chain drop because there no tensioners. Gears can be changed at any time. Standstill, back pedaling. not a problem. So far, its been good. You get lots of attention while riding it. A ferrari of MTN bikes. Worth every penney. If you like going down fast, then this is for you.
