Sunday is race day and the dw-link equipped Iron Horse Sunday is regarded as the
best performing downhill racing bike ever built. The Sunday’s dw-link provides
incredible traction, cornering ability, square-edged bump performance and light
weight to augment a geometry set that has become the industry standard for
downhill racing bikes. Being complacent isn’t something that Sam Hill and Duncan
Riffle do, and the Sunday epitomizes this spirit. For 2007 we introduce a host of
features developed over the last two seasons on the World Cup circuit and
through the dl program. The ‘07 Sunday uses an all-new o.p.t. 6069 triple butted
tubeset coupled with new lighter forged uprights, adding strength while dropping
0.9 lbs from the frame. All new 10-mil high strength pivot hardware and an
innovative screw in lower pivot assembly let you clamp down on the rear shock
tight for a zero play and no-maintenance ride. New f7 forged 7075 t6 upper and
lower links cradle the shock directly, and look trick doing it. Get on a Sunday and
realize your true riding potential.

Weaknesses:
brake cable holders pop off pretty easy, but no big deal its called zip ties.

Frame and geometry. wheels and forks seem to be just fine
Weaknesses:
CRANKS - worst ever. FSA Maximus make hussefelts look good. Bent on first day of riding. able to make them flex with my hand alone.

Bottom Line:
It is a great bike, I haven't enjoyed another bike more once i got a feel for it. I got mine on special for $3000 AUD - but the price is a stretch when retail (the frame is worth it, but the spec is lacking in a few areas, but overall is well thought out). The cranks are pitiful - but at this price point they all are I was skeptical about the rep sundays have, but i am now a very satisfied customer.

My first DH bike. I am in love!! Went to buy a Stinky, walked out with the Sunday. This thing has been used for DH and some pretty big hucks. Handling it like a dream. So plush compared to my all mountain bike, rock gardens and drops are a breeze
No wonder Sam Hill is killing it on his World Cup
